How low can lo-fi go?

Here is a vintage 1980s Casio PT-100. These are fun for tinkerbot lo-fi sounds. Fun to mod and circuit bend. This one is in great shape with a few minor scuffs. Battery cover is missing (they always are). Tested and working properly.

The Casio PT-100 is a home keyboard released by Casio in 1987. With only 8 preset voices, 8 rhythms, and a basic autochord function, it stands out as one of the more limited offerings in Casio’s PT series. However, it’s retro “blip” percussion and distinctly lo-fi tones are quite charming, enough for most to overlook its limited functionality.

The PT-100 utilizes Casio’s proprietary “Vowel-consonant” synthesis, using 2 layered, multipulse squarewaves and 8 preset envelopes to form its 8 voices.
