A superb 2011 Marshall JVM205C 50-watt 2×12 valve combo, presented in excellent condition and freshly serviced with a new matched pair of Svetlana EL34B output valves.

The JVM205C is one of Marshall's most versatile all-valve combos, combining classic British tone with modern gain, channel switching and effects functionality.

Featuring two independent channels, each with three selectable modes, the JVM205C offers six distinct tonal options, ranging from beautifully articulate cleans and classic Marshall crunch through to saturated high-gain lead sounds.

With its powerful 50-watt EL34 output section and dual Celestion speaker configuration, this is a proper professional Marshall combo, equally suited to recording, rehearsals and live performance.

Classic Marshall Tone & Modern Versatility

The JVM205C features two channels — Clean/Crunch and Overdrive — each offering three progressively higher-gain modes.

The Clean/Crunch channel provides everything from warm, detailed cleans through to the familiar bite and aggression of a classic JMP or JCM800.

The Overdrive channel takes things considerably further, offering thick, harmonically rich distortion with excellent sustain and definition.

Additional features include two switchable master volumes, individual channel EQ, digital reverb, MIDI switching and two effects loops, making the JVM205C exceptionally flexible for both traditional and modern guitar setups.

Celestion 2×12 Speaker Configuration

The JVM205C was designed around a specially selected pairing of two different Celestion speakers:

• 1× Celestion Heritage G12H
• 1× Celestion Vintage

This combination provides a particularly well-balanced sound, blending the warmth and midrange character of the Heritage speaker with the clarity, punch and definition of the Vintage.

The result is a full, authoritative sound with excellent projection and plenty of low-end response, without needing an external cabinet.

Recently Professionally Serviced

Freshly serviced on 11 October 2026 by Dave Wittering of Prestige Amp Servicing, former Marshall senior service engineer.

The amplifier underwent a full health check and professional testing, together with the installation of a new matched set of output valves.

Service work included:

• New matched pair of Svetlana EL34B output valves fitted
• Full amplifier health check
• General operational inspection and testing

The amplifier is in excellent working order and ready to use.
