This is a practically new, potentially never-used Portastudio. It includes all original packaging material and paperwork. The unit powers on with all lights (power, recording) working as expected, and the tape spinner functions properly. Tested for speed and FF RW functions with a used cassette - speed, and other functions are perfect. Sound output is perfect. It includes a Maxell cassette that I didn't want to mess with, but it is all pristine. Only the outer packaging and Styrofoam have some signs of age. This was stored in a basement, where other, less well-protected and far longer stored electronic equipment was also stored, with no electronic malfunctions. (A Lazer Tag rifle and sensor from 1987 - with batteries still in the rifle - were completely uncorroded, and both work well).
