SABIAN 14" XSR Monarch Hat Bottom

The XSR Monarch Hat Bottom delivers a focused, articulate response with crisp stick definition and excellent control across tight playing spaces and full kit setups. This bottom cymbal balances bright clarity with warm undertones, making it equally at home in live and studio environments where defined hat sounds are essential. Session players and touring drummers rely on this cymbal's punchy articulation and professional tonal character.

Tonal Character & Construction

Cast from premium B20 bronze and machine-hammered with full lathing, this cymbal features enhanced profiles and a reshaped bell that concentrate frequencies for punchy articulation. The medium-thin bottom thickness allows for faster response while maintaining structural integrity, and the small bell design minimizes washy overtones to produce tight, focused stick attacks.

Professional Setup Integration

The compact footprint and responsive feel make this bottom cymbal an ideal match for integrated hat systems demanding precision and tonal balance. The hammering pattern works with the B20 alloy to deliver a spectrum bright enough for cut without sacrificing the warm, musical body that defines the XSR line.
