I have for sale a Dreadbox Abyss. Recently sent to Dreadbox in Athens, Greece for service and to replace the daughterboard with the newer revision daughterboard. This is a beautiful and engrossing, but temperamental, synth. If my goal wasn’t to have one mono synth and one poly synth I would be keeping this, and I have used this for the last six months as my only poly synth, but I need something slightly more predictable. I’m sure that if you are looking at this you are aware that predictability or pitch perfect tuning stability or patch memory are not this instrument’s forte, it’s more about the hands-on textural experience.
