This is a super fun Jazzmaster that’s treated me well, but lately I’ve been gravitating toward more traditional Jazzmasters. Hopefully, this one can find a good home!

Modifications and Condition

• Nut: The original nut has been replaced with a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut. During the replacement, a small piece of wood chipped off, but it was glued back into place and has held up well for several years.
• Pickups: The guitar currently has a set of Black Mass Between Worlds pickups. I highly recommend checking out AmbientTrash’s YouTube demo, as he really showcases what these pickups are capable of.
• Neck Pickup Cavity: The guitar originally had an HS pickup configuration with a full-sized Jazzmaster pickup in the neck position. Several years ago, the body was routed to accommodate a different-sized pickup. As a result, the woodwork in the neck pickup cavity isn’t the cleanest under the pickguard.
• Tuners: Upgraded to Fender locking tuners.

Cosmetic Condition

Please refer to the pictures for various dents and scratches. I’ve tried to capture as many as possible, but due to the glossy black finish, some imperfections may not be easily visible in the photos. I may have also missed a few minor scratches.

Pickup Specifications

This set features an underwound HB sized Jazzmaster pickup in the neck position, and a punchy overwound humbucker in the bridge position. The pairing of these two pickups together allows you to take your guitar from chimy cleans to all out mid-forward assault with the flick of a switch. They even play well together in the middle position. Whether you play aggressive metal, or ambient reverb soaked post-shoe-worship, or both, this humbucker set has you covered.
