This is a very good condition Holton H179 Double French Horn from 1967 with a unique quality to it. The instrument functions well and lacks any major cosmetic damage. Being a silver instrument, some tarnish is visible throughout, but it naturally improves with polishing.

While this horn was manufactured in 1967, it returned to the Holton factory in the early 1970's. This french horn has a unique extra large bell which was fit to the instrument after initial production, making this a custom large bell french horn, but still up to factory spec.

This horn is the real deal, and an excellent older professional french horn.

Included with the instrument is a Mirafone case, and a J&B mute.
