Up for sale is a Genelec / K&M custom studio monitor floor stand- the 8000-400. I have (16) of these stands that I am selling, along with (20) 8341A monitors, (4) 7360A subwoofers, and (4) 9301A AES 19” subwoofer racks.
All this amazing Genelec gear was for an intended 20.4 ambisonic surround-sound system that never materialized. Not a single speaker or sub was ever even powered on and the stands have just sat in storage. This is your chance to get Genelec gear at a fraction of the new cost!
Because these stands are single pieces that are very difficult to pack and ship, I will be offering in person pick-up here in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you would like to arrange pickup and shipping with UPS or Fed Ex that is also fine.
I have been selling on Reverb for over a decade with 5-star feedback. I retired several years ago so am selling through most of my collection. I would love this system to go to happy homes and studios that will use them!

After a long development journey together with K&M, Genelec offers their own designed floor stand for the 8000 series loudspeakers - the Genelec 8000-400 Design Floor Stand. Harri Koskinen, an industrial designer and a partner in the design of the 8000 Series loudspeaker, made the first drawings of the stand several years ago.
The elegant steel stand has a 16.5 x 16.5 inch cast base with an oversized rod combination, which makes it very stable. Gradual height adjustment between 43 to 66.9 inches is made by a superior positioning and clamping knob. Quick and simple mounting of the monitor is accomplished using the suspension device. The stand weights 42 lb and is available in black. An additional adapter (8000-438) is required for horizontal mounting.
