The Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom 1 HB in Olive Drab VOS offers a stripped-down take on the traditional Les Paul Custom, pairing its upscale appointments with a single bridge humbucker and simplified electronics. Part of Gibson Custom's limited-run Greatest Hits 2 collection, this instrument features a maple-topped mahogany body, ebony fingerboard, and distinctive Olive Drab finish. The VOS treatment gives the guitar a subtly aged appearance, while an Ebony Stinger on the back of the headstock adds a custom detail.

The body features a plain maple top and mahogany back with traditional nine-hole weight relief. Seven-ply black and white binding outlines the top, while five-ply binding accents the back. The Olive Drab finish extends across the top, back, sides, and neck without additional antique tinting. A five-ply Les Paul Custom pickguard, nickel hardware, and traditional Custom appointments complete the understated appearance.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's Modern Medium C profile, measuring approximately .820" at the first fret and .965" at the twelfth. Its bound ebony fingerboard features tapered mother-of-pearl block inlays and Jescar medium-jumbo fretwire. A 24.75" scale length, Corian nut, and traditional split-diamond headstock inlay maintain the familiar Les Paul Custom construction. Kluson Waffle Back tuners with metal buttons add another vintage-inspired detail.

A single Gibson '57+ humbucker occupies the bridge position, providing a direct, uncomplicated pickup configuration. The guitar uses a Les Paul Junior-style control assembly rather than the traditional dual-humbucker Les Paul Custom layout. A nickel ABR-1 Historic bridge and stopbar tailpiece provide the hardware foundation, complemented by black speed knobs and a vintage-style engraved Les Paul Custom truss rod cover. A Gibson Custom Les Paul case and Certificate of Authenticity are included.
