OK. I am going to say it. If you play in a cover band, or church/worship groups, YOU. NEED. THIS.
I know. The guitar player in my cover band has one, and it's a life saver - from picking a key for the singer, to toe-tap key changes mid-set!
So WHY would I sell this? Well, because I had big dreams of using this for all of that and more - except I am a studio owner and producer, and a drummer by trade - (I mean, to be fair, i have lots of guitars, but I don't play out, soooo)... once my guitar player went out and bought HIS OWN, (i know, right?) I ended up stuck with this amazing, pitch-shifting behemoth that apparently, you can do really cool "hammer-on" and "pull out" effects with, too... but instead, it is just sitting around in my studio, collecting dust!
NEVER GIGGED. ONLY USED AT REHEARSALS. GRAB THE WHAMMY, BEFORE IT'S GONE.
Original description (kind of):
The DigiTech Whammy has gone from premier to ultimate with the DT!, by adding drop tuning and true bypass to the industry-leading predecessor. --Wait... Premier? HOW??... Well, for one, you can change keys without changing guitars (or worse, pausing for 'the tuning song' while your singer rambles on about 'that one time, at band camp'...) So key changes are at the tips of your toes and take just moments, which is crucial when the audience is feeling your vibe.
Secondly, it has pitch shifting effects like full drop and raised (capo) tuning in addition to classic Whammy shifting. This magic can be added to your arsenal of talent and skill. Read on for more...
Step down or step up 7 half steps, or an entire octave
The DigiTech Whammy DT gives you the latest pitch shifting technology to retune your guitar without ever touching the tuning pegs. Step up or down in 7 half steps, or an entire octave with just one setting.
Whammy effects capabilities
With all the new tuning capabilities, you still have your true pitch shifting effects to sweeten up all moments of your gig. With over 20 years of leading the market in pitch shifting, Whammy effects give you the comfort of knowing the pedal you are using is a proven winner.
Momentary footswitch for hammer-on and pull-off effects
Feeling saucy? A little "hard-to-get?" You can instantly create hammer-on and pull-off effects during your performance with the momentary footswitch. Hold it on for quick chord shifts or note changes during your solo or a gritty bridge.
