Vintage 1970s Ludwig Super-Sensitive snare drum featuring a chrome finish, 7-digit badge, and aluminum shell.

Condition:
The drum shows minor rust pitting on the hoops and tension rods, consistent with its age. The Ludwig P70 throw-off functions as intended. The cam slide has a broken piece of plastic on one side and a crack on the other. These imperfections may be difficult to see in the photos, but the snare remains fully functional.

The snare wires are missing three strands. The tension knob functions well but can occasionally be stiff to turn due to age.

Performance:
This snare plays great and delivers the distinctive, crisp crack that Ludwig Super-Sensitive drums are known for. It has a solid, substantial feel thanks to its aluminum shell.
