Zildjian 22” K Custom Ride Cymbal | 3,220g | 2002 | Rare Early K Custom

This is the hard-to-find 22” Zildjian K Custom Ride, a classic from an era when K Custom cymbals helped define the sound of some of the greatest drummers of the 1980s and 1990s, including Dennis Chambers, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Dave Weckl.

The 22” version offers a darker, lower-pitched, and beautifully complex voice, with the unmistakable K character that made this series so popular. Its gorgeous hammering pattern, and solid bell deliver a pronounced, dry stick attack with excellent definition and projection. The wash stays controlled without becoming overly dry, allowing the cymbal to remain musical and responsive across a wide dynamic range.

Condition: Very good used condition. No cracks, dents, dings, or keyholing. Minor cosmetic blemishes, natural patina, and fingerprints are present from normal use. There is some light tape residue on the underside that I have left as is, along with slight oxidation near the upper-left portion of the “Custom Ride” lettering. Both are pictured.
