About this model

The MOTU MIDI Express XT USB is an 8-in/8-out USB MIDI interface, patchbay, and merger built for studios that need to route and synchronise multiple MIDI devices simultaneously. It supports 128 MIDI channels across its nine connectors, and handles SMPTE time code sync in all standard formats - including 23.976, 24, 25, 29.97 drop/non-drop, and 30 fps - alongside MIDI Machine Control (MMC) as both master and slave. Sub-millisecond timing accuracy is achieved via MIDI Time Stamping (MTS), making it a reliable backbone for larger hardware setups. Sixteen front-panel presets (eight factory and eight user-programmable with battery-backed memory) allow quick recall of complex routing configurations, while a foot switch input and bypass/panic button add hands-on control. An internal international power supply and compatibility with Mac OS X and Windows via ClockWorks software round out a feature set aimed squarely at producers and engineers managing extensive MIDI rigs.

A great opportunity to own a MOTU MIDI Express XT-USB at this price point.
