Fostex PM0.5 Monitors (Pair):

These original, 1st generation Fostex PM 0.5 active nearfield studio monitors (released in the early 2000s) are distinct from later versions (like the MKII, n, or d variants) due to their analog amplification, massive exposed rear heatsink fins, and true bi-amplified design with 70W RMS total power per speaker (discrete 40W analog amp for the woofer and 30W analog amp for the tweeter for ultra-clean, distortion-free playback).

Well-loved and looked after in a clean environment for roughly 20 years. Much of that time they have been in storage.

They are in good cosmetic and working condition.

• Drivers: 5-inch aromatic polyamide fiber woofer and 0.75-inch UFLC soft dome tweeter.
• Frequency Range: 50 Hz to 20 kHz for accurate nearfield monitoring.
• Connectivity: Versatile inputs featuring balanced XLR and unbalanced 1/4-inch jacks.
• Max SPL: Capable of >105 dB at 1 meter, delivering plenty of volume for home or project studios.
