Ludwig Hollywood 1961 4 piece

Selling my 1961 Ludwig Hollywood.

This is fully modernized, but I am happy to include all of the original hardware.

Both rack toms and the floor tom had all edges re-cut professionally by Precision Drum Shop. I removed all internal mufflers. All six triple flanged hoops were replaced with new hoops. Floor tom legs were replaced. Shown with an iNde tom mount, but I still have the original mounts and dual tom holder. Bass drum hoops are new from Precision Drum Shop, so they are perfectly round, and the inlay was removed from the old, warped hoops onto the new hoops.

Again, all original components are included if you like, but the warped bass drum hoops were discarded as they wouldn't allow the kick to tune up properly. Bass drum spurs are new, but all original spurs are included (the red you see on the spur in the picture inside the kick is just tape I put on as a sort of memory lock).

The kit sounds fantastic! Tunes up beautifully, wide tuning range on all drums. Finish was originally blue, but has faded into a really cool green / blue. Drums are in remarkable condition for being 65 years old!
