PAISTE Dimensions THIN CHINA 18” DARK Complex & Very

Here’s a sound you don’t normally find from Paiste!
A very dark and complex China or Swish.
Paiste’s Chinas are famously rigid and stiff - they do that Paiste China thing.
This Dimensions THIN 18” is the outlier. It plays more like a Turkish Hand Hammered China - it is THAT complex and quick.
The Dimensions series was a Top of the Paiste Series - a hybrid of the Dark Energies with the 2002s. That was the vibe. Darker and more complex and adventurous than the regular 2002.
And that’s exactly what we have with this 18” Dimensions Thin China.
Only 1095 grams make it very thin - one of the thinnest Chinas Paiste has ever produced.
Super DARK and complex with a wonderful earthen quality.
Opens quickly with an extremely fast decay.
Incredibly responsive.
Perfect as an alternate Light Dry Ride or Swish.
Excellent shape for how thin it is. Usually these are dented all over the place. This one is clean and in great shape.
Perfect if you want a dark and different tone from Paiste. It’s one of the nicer Chinas they ever made.
They make nothing like this 18” today.
