Ludwig Classic Maple 10"x14" Late 70's - Black Oyster Pearl

This drum was originally (and technically still is) finished in Black Diamond Pearl (see photos from original listing). The serial number dates it between 1978 and 1979 according to the guide here on Reverb. I tried matching it to some Black Oyster Pearl drums by using a "faux" Black Oyster Pearl from Bumwraps.com over the top of the original wrap. Looks pretty good from a few feet away but up close you can tell. If the buyer prefers, I can remove that and restore it to the original BDP (which will add a couple days before I can ship). Heads are a Remo Classic fit Ambassador clear on bottom and Remo Coated Vintage Emperor on top. No tom mounting bracket as it came with a Rogers Swiv-o-matic mount that I took off and sold and I just used a snare stand to mount it. The Rogers mount left some extra holes that are covered by the Black Oyster Pearl wrap. Bearing edges are straight and in good condition and the drum sounds great. The chrome on the lugs is in pretty good condition with minor pitting and some scuffs here and there. I stripped the drum down to wrap it and took the lugs apart to give them a good cleaning. I was going to keep it and have it wrapped to match another kit but I actually found the same size tom from the correct era and in the same finish so I'm selling this one. Please let me know if you have any questions about this drum and I will try my best to answer them.

Thanks!
