Alesis Andromeda A6 – fully functional and sounding fantastic.

Selling my Alesis Andromeda A6. If you're looking at this listing, you probably already know what this is—one of the most ambitious analog polysynths ever produced, with 16 voices, 2 analog oscillators per voice, dual analog filters, extensive modulation, multitimbrality, and an absurd amount of hands-on control.

Most importantly, everything is working great. I've played and tested the synth and haven't encountered any functional issues. It sounds absolutely massive, all controls are working properly, and the display is bright, clear and very easy to read.

Cosmetically, it shows its age and use, and I've photographed the condition carefully so there aren't any surprises.

Known cosmetic wear:

• Some yellowing/discoloration of the white keys
• Surface rust/corrosion along the metal below the keybed
• Some additional corrosion/rust on the rear/bottom edge of the front-panel chassis
• Various small marks, scratches and signs of normal use

Please look closely at the photos—they're intended to show the cosmetic condition accurately. None of the cosmetic wear has affected its operation.

Functionally, this is a great-playing, great-sounding Andromeda, and I'd much rather represent the cosmetic condition accurately than try to make a nearly 25-year-old instrument sound mint.

The A6 has become increasingly difficult to find, particularly examples that are fully operational. It's an incredibly deep instrument capable of everything from huge vintage-style pads and brass to aggressive basses, evolving textures, leads and experimental sounds.
