Nothing like the sound of aged maple. This drum sounds fantastic and has aged like a fine wine. The wear is typical for a drum of this age. It functions as it should. Looks like a museum piece but is solid with no issues. I imagine you could polish up or powder coat the hardware if you don’t like the antique look. The shell looks amazing!! 14”x5” … thank you! If you’re looking for a studio workhorse, this would be it!!
