Yamaha CR-820 Rebuilt + Bluetooth

Truly excellent shape inside and out. This unit is rebuilt. Not just a quick service, but rebuilt. 60+ components replaced. All these CR-*20 units are plagued with bad caps in the power supply. No worries with a rebuilt unit like this. This unit puts out 75+W/channel, well above the 50W it's rated at.

Please look carefully at the pics. It's in great shape, but there are minor imperfections which you'll see in the pics.

As a bonus, bluetooth has been added inside the case so the outside stays completely stock. This turns on/off with the main power switch. This is a high end BT board which supports AptX, AptX-HD and LDAC. The sound goes through the AUX input and it sounds good! Much better than the vast majority of those external units. You can still use the AUX inputs on the back so you don't lose that input. For those concerned about the modifications needed for the addition of BT, you need not worry. I've made this modification on dozens of amps/receivers and they are still working great. No part of the receiver has been irreversibly modified. Desolder a few wires and it's like it was never there. It's important to me to keep these classics in great shape.

I've packed and shipped many audio pieces. It will be carefully packaged to ensure safe shipping and delivery. Insurance will also be provided to ensure both buyer and seller are protected. After your purchase, I will contact you by phone to make sure we're both comfortable with the sale. It's a valuable piece and a good amount of money so I like to chat before shipping. I don't advertise an arbitrary warranty because I give support for all my sold items and am happy to answer questions or help solve any issues that come up in the future.
