The AER Compact 60/4: BHG (Black High Gloss)
The AER Compact 60/4 BHG (Black High Gloss) is a premium version of one of the most respected acoustic amplifiers in the world. Designed for professional musicians, this compact yet powerful amp delivers pristine, natural sound reproduction for acoustic instruments and vocals. With its elegant high-gloss black finish, it adds a refined, stage-ready aesthetic to an already industry-standard performer.

Design & Build Quality
This BHG version features a striking black high-gloss cabinet, offering a more modern and polished look compared to the standard textured finish. Built in Germany with AER’s renowned attention to detail, the Compact 60/4 is engineered for durability, portability, and reliability. Despite its compact footprint and lightweight design (around 16 lbs), it delivers road-ready performance and long-term dependability.
Performance & Sound
At its core is a 60-watt power amp paired with an 8-inch twin-cone speaker system, providing clear, balanced, and highly dynamic sound reproduction. The dual-channel design allows simultaneous use of instrument and microphone inputs, making it ideal for singer-songwriters and solo performers. Built-in digital effects—including reverb, delay, and chorus—add depth and ambience, while AER’s dynamic control ensures clean sound even at higher volumes.
Versatility & Connectivity
The Compact 60/4 BHG is designed for real-world flexibility. It includes a switchable pre/post effects DI output for direct recording or live sound integration, along with auxiliary input, headphone output, and effects loop. Phantom power on the second channel supports condenser microphones, expanding its use beyond guitar into full vocal performance setups. These features make it equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in a practice environment.
