Sabian 8" B8X Splash

The 8" B8X Splash speaks instantly with crisp articulation and razor-quick response—exactly what you need for tight, punchy accents on stage. Its thin weight class makes it exceptionally quick to attack, ideal for players seeking definition in secondary cymbal setups or compact kit configurations. This is a workhorse splash for musicians who need precise punctuation without sacrificing control in live settings.

Tone & Character

The B8 bronze alloy (92% copper, 8% tin) delivers the classic warm-bright balance that cuts through a mix, while the hammered bell adds depth and sustain to every hit. At 8 inches, this splash excels at quick accents and tight definitions, making it particularly effective in rock, funk, and fusion—where crisp cymbal articulation makes the difference between a good groove and a locked-in one.

Construction & Materials

Built from B8 bronze in a thin weight class, the cymbal remains responsive and easy to control across dynamic ranges, giving you the feel and flexibility needed for live reliability. The natural finish reflects the raw alloy, providing visual clarity while contributing to the open, unrestrained tonal character that works in any stage lighting.
