This is a passive transformer balanced line splitter that I used for running my vocals through a separate channel with several effects. I built it with an Edcor WSM 600/600 balancing transformer that is similar in quality (less expensive - about $35 each compared to average Jensen price of $100) to the Jensen transformer that is in the Radial JS3.
One in, two outs. Built with a ground lift for the balanced output. Super low noise, no audible signal roll-off.
I should mention that the $35 price tag for the transformer is from the manufacturer - who takes 6-8 weeks to build them to order.
