2010 Ibanez RG1550MZ Black w/OHSC

Hello there people from the internets! Up for sale is a 2010 Ibanez RG1550MZ in Black finish. The RG1550MZ is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2010. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the upscale Prestige line. It is considered to be in the lineage of the classic RG550. The RG1550MZ features a basswood body bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with small black dot position markers. Components include the newly introduced Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable ZPS3 tuning stabilizer and Gotoh tuning machines.

As you can see in the photos and video, the guitar is decent condition with plenty of scratches and dings all over the body specially in the bottom edge (please check the video and photos for a better perspective of the guitar's condition and please ask for more pictures if necessary). The neck is straight and extremely smooth, very comfortable and easy to play and the truss rod works as it should. The pickups have been changed from the V7, S1 and V8 Ibanez pickups to a couple a Dimarzio Air Norton DP193 BK in the neck and a Dimarzio Tone Zone DP155 BK in the bridge. Everything works properly (no issue whatsoever with the electronics). The frets show wear in the first 8-9 frets but they have plenty of life left, have been polished to a mirror finish and fret leveling is not yet required. It has just been setup to my liking with .010–.046 D'Addario EXL120.

It will be professionally packed and shipped by carrier (UPS or DPD) in the Ibanez Prestige hardshell case pictured in the photos. Please watch the close-up video for more details. I have tons of more photos so please send me a message if you desire to look at them. Sold as it is.

If there is any additional information that you might require, I’m happy to provide it to you, so send me a message. All serious offers will be considered. If you are a Portuguese customer local pickup is also an option. In the case of international delivery: import duties, taxes and customs are not included. Such charges, if any, are the buyer's responsibility. Have a good day and stay safe!
