Beautiful 2013 Taylor Grand Orchestra 518e (a Jumbo in plain language) with case in great condition - no obvious dings and just a wee bit of wear and tear. I don't think this has gigged in anger, it certainly hasn't in the year I've had it (took it as part of a partial trade for another Taylor). I like it a lot - but it is time for the collection to be thinned (and I am a bassist and don't deserve to have such a nice acoustic).
The online decoder tells me that this was made in February 2013, which must put it in one of the earliest batches after this model was announced - meaning it has the ES1 electronics that many folk prefer. As with all shiny guitars it's tough to get a decent photo, but I've included photos taken indoors and outdoors to show the finish as well as I can. It is a lovely guitar to play and is of the quality level you expect from a Taylor. I'm pretty sure it's a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides.
Comes with the standard issue (and high quality) Taylor case, and will be shipped in a proper guitar box. I've guesstimated at £50 for 2-day insured shipping in the UK, but once I know the delivery address I can confirm this - buyer can decide on insurance etc and I will adjust the shipping to actual cost. Also happy to hand deliver within 50 miles of Glasgow.
