Strymon PCH X2 Active Stereo DI Isolator / Direct Box

The Strymon PCH X2 is a premium two-channel active stereo DI isolator designed to deliver exceptionally clean, transparent audio from your pedalboard, modeler, keyboard, guitar, bass, or other instrument to a mixing console or audio interface. With custom transformers, flexible mono/stereo routing, and an ultra-low-noise signal path, PCH X2 is built for professional stage and studio use.

Each channel features a high-impedance buffered 1/4" input, passive 1/4" THRU output, and transformer-isolated balanced XLR output. Custom audio transformers provide true galvanic isolation to help eliminate troublesome ground loops while preserving the character and detail of your source signal.

Flexible Stereo and Mono Operation

Use PCH X2 as a stereo DI, as two independent mono direct boxes, or engage the SUM function to combine the left and right inputs and route the summed signal through the left outputs. A polarity-reversal switch for the left XLR output provides additional flexibility for live and studio setups.

Each channel also includes an independent ground lift and a three-position high-pass filter. Select 80Hz to reduce stage rumble and unwanted low-frequency energy, or 240Hz for more aggressive low-frequency filtering when needed.
