This is a Godin A4 hollowbody fretless 4-string bass, with active preamp, EQ and volume sliders.
I purchased it used on Ebay around 2010, so I assume the instrument dates to the early to middle 2000s.
In 2016, I had Nashville luthier Randy Hunt add fret markers to the neck.
The bass is in excellent condition, with a few dings on the top edge of the metal body, near the neck (see photos).
All mechanics and electronics work perfectly.
I am selling because I never had the time to learn fretless technique (I'm a professional keyboardist).
This bass is not being played and needs a better home. It has a beautiful round tone, and in the right hands would be a very expressive instrument.
Strap included, but no guitar case.
