Up for sale is a beautiful 1964 Fender Duo-Sonic, made in the USA during the highly desirable Pre-CBS L-Series era. This exceptionally clean vintage Fender features a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays, a 22.5" short scale, comfortable C-shaped neck, and serial number L38666.
The neck is stamped 9SEP64A, providing an excellent period date reference. The guitar was professionally refinished in White a very long time ago and has aged gracefully since.
It comes complete with its original hard-shell case.

CLEAN – Very Good Vintage Condition
This is a remarkably clean vintage Duo-Sonic considering its age.
The guitar shows only relatively minor cosmetic wear, including:
• Small finish dent on the bass-side body edge
• A few tiny dings on the back of the neck
• Normal light vintage wear and aging
• Frets are in excellent condition
⚠️ REFINISH DISCLOSURE: The White finish is not the original factory finish. The guitar was professionally refinished a very long time ago.
The pickup selector switches, pickup covers and strap buttons have also been replaced, so the instrument should not be advertised as completely original.
The combination of serial L38666, neck stamp 9SEP64A, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and clay dots makes this a particularly attractive Pre-CBS player-grade Fender.
