I believe this is a '73 or '74. It weighs 6.5 lbs on my scale and is extremely resonant.

I had it looked over by a professional a while back and I believe everything is original except for the pickguard, knobs and 3-way switch. The original rare earth CuNiFe wide range pickups sound absolutely fantastic.

The finish has aged beautifully over the years and the lightweight ash body looks gorgeous and perfectly broken in. This guitar has been played a ton. The original frets have plenty of life left in them and the guitar plays great all over the place. That being said, it could use a set up and fresh set of strings. I bought it years ago and it has been in storage for most of that time. The neck is straight and the truss rod works as intended.

It has original tuners. But at some point in its life they had been swapped. Whoever blessed us with that alteration did a poor job and ran the drill long, leaving small holes in the headstock. The nut has also been swapped for a brass one. A common practice back then. It actually works and sounds just fine. But is worth noting. The neck is fast and slim and the finish on the back of it has been sanded smooth. I usually hate this but it works on this guitar.

Included is a vintage fender hard case. I believe it's older than the guitar and perhaps from the 60's. There's some swag in the compartment. A vintage strap and coily cable. The case does a fine job at protecting the guitar but has a broken latch and the compartment itself is somewhat loose. There is also typical wear to the tolex.
