Roland JP-08 Boutique Jupiter-8 Synthesizer Sound Module
Compact Roland Boutique synth module recreating the Jupiter-8 with ACB modeling, hands-on controls, and built-in sequencing
The Roland JP-08 is a compact Boutique Series synthesizer sound module designed to recreate the character and control layout of the legendary Roland Jupiter-8. It uses Roland’s Analog Circuit Behaviour (ACB) technology and provides direct access to oscillator, filter, envelope, modulation, and performance controls in a compact desktop format.
The JP-08 features 4-voice polyphony, patch memory, a built-in 16-step sequencer, dual ribbon controllers, MIDI connectivity, USB audio/MIDI, and a built-in speaker. It is well suited for hardware synth setups, electronic music production, studio use, sequencing, and portable sound design.
This example includes the original Roland Boutique box and original manual.
Condition:
Good physical and working condition overall with visible cosmetic wear from previous use.
The module has dents, chipped finish, and exposed metal on both lower/front corners of the chassis, as clearly shown in the photos. The right-side corner has the more noticeable damage. These imperfections are cosmetic and do not affect the functionality of the unit.
The original VCO-2 waveform selector knob/cap is missing, leaving the blue selector shaft exposed. The selector itself remains present and functions normally.
Additional light scratches, scuffs, dust, and normal signs of previous use are visible around the housing and control surface.
The unit has been fully tested and is working properly with no functional issues noted during testing. The sliders, buttons, switches, display, ribbon controllers, and other tested controls function normally.
The original box is included and shows some visible edge wear, creasing, dents, and storage wear.
