The Fender 1997 American Standard Stratocaster pairs a contoured alder body in Inca Silver with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Built in Corona, California, this American Standard features a 25.5" scale length, 9.5" fingerboard radius, and 22 medium-jumbo frets for the contemporary Fender playing specifications of the period. Three American Standard Stratocaster single-coil pickups are controlled by a five-way selector, master volume, neck tone control, and TBX tone control for the middle and bridge pickups. Fender's two-point American Standard tremolo, Fender/Schaller sealed tuning machines, Bi-Flex truss rod, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment complete the late-1990s American Standard configuration.
