The VHT D-Fifty is a 50-watt tube guitar amplifier head featuring a hand-wired eyelet-board circuit and a versatile range of controls inspired by classic boutique amplifier designs. Its tube complement consists of three 12AX7 preamp tubes and two 6L6GC power tubes, with footswitchable Overdrive and Preamp Boost functions for expanding its available tones. A three-position Bright switch, Mid Boost, Jazz/Rock voicing switch, three-band EQ, Master Volume, and Presence control provide extensive tone shaping, while an effects loop and switchable 4-, 8-, and 16-ohm speaker outputs provide flexible connectivity. This set pairs the D-Fifty head with a VHT Special 6 112C closed-back cabinet featuring a 12" VHT ChromeBack speaker and 16-ohm impedance.
