Tatsuro Furubayashi creates ukuleles based on his experience and techniques as a classical guitar maker. His instruments are characterized by carefully considered construction that makes the most of beautiful natural woods, combined with the structural expertise of a guitar builder.

This is a used Tatsuro Furubayashi ZC-01UK featuring an unusual combination of Cedar, Zebrawood, and Maple.

The combination of a Cedar top, Zebrawood body, and Maple neck is rarely seen on conventional ukuleles. By skillfully combining the individual characteristics of these woods, this instrument offers a distinctive appearance along with a bright, clear tone, strong tonal core, and excellent sustain.

The instrument has very few noticeable scratches, and the neck is in good condition. Overall, it has been well maintained and shows that it has been handled with care.

Furubayashi ukuleles rarely come onto the market, making this an excellent choice for anyone looking for a distinctive Japanese handmade ukulele.
