Great little mixer that adds all the control and effects you need for a solo or duo act to any speaker system. I used it with a Bose S1 Pro+ or a LD Systems Maui 5 Line array.

I bought the accessory that allows the mixer to be mounted on a mic stand. The case logic case is an important add-on I’m including, as well as a 10-ft long magnetic USB power cable. Let me explain the USB power cable. Using micro USB is the only design shortfall of the Flow 8. This adapter inserts into the micro USB adapts it to a very handy and much more reliable magnetic hook-up, with full 180 swivel. Hooks up fast and is strong enough I’ve never had it pull off during a gig.

The mixer can be controlled directly on the board, but using the Flow 8 app, on phone or iPad can make adjustments much easier and quicker. I’ve always set up EQ, low cuts, compression, reverb, and delay in the app, but then during the gig it’s great to be able to reach for physical hardware sliders for volume levels. You can mute effects with the push of a button, when you want to talk without reverb, and you can do a long push to mute everything for break.
