We offer this extremely nice Gibson F-5 “Goldrush” Mandolin.  The name refers to the lovely amber finish of the top with golden hues that still lets the grain of the wood shine through. The mandolin was built in 2008 which is the very beginning of the Dave Harvey era at Gibson which has become known for great design and tone.  The F-5 is an upper line mandolin and its features include nitrocellulose lacquer finish, fern inlay at the headstock and solid Sitka Spruce Top with flamed Maple back and side and Ebony fingerboard. The instrument remains in very good playing condition with low appropriate action and a straight neck with just a very few dings and small blemishes from time and use which do not detract from the lovely looks and feel of this instrument.  Comes with hard rectangular case in very good condition.
