RARE Kasha Amplifiers Rockmod II 1989 Original Issue Model Tube Guitar Preamplifier

I am selling this on behalf of the original owner whom is a local friend that asked to use my account and credibility to sell this unit on his behalf. I will be posting his original description for his original listing (used on ebay and taken down in lieu of selling here on reverb. he does not have an account. ) as well as providing my own description of the unit after inspecting it personally for the sake of transparency and for any liability on Hijacker Electrical's end.

ORIGINAL OWNERS DESCRIPTION:
Rare and original 1980’s Kasha Amplifiers Rockmod II 3 Channel Guitar Tube Pre-Amplifier.
In good cosmetic (missing 4 original knob caps). The clean ‘dan huff’ channel sounds fantastic and sits great in a mix as does the CRUNCH channel, both are excellent springboards for like-era effects such as the trichorus and eventide units. The ‘BURN’ channel sounds like it will need attending to so please keep that in mind before purchase. I’ve owned two of these at one point and something sounds amiss with this units BURN channel so it will likely need servicing. I've already retubed the unit to no avail so will likely need a more intensive servicing. Otherwise it powers on and functions with no other issues major or really minor issues to note. This is original issue model but the later variant in the original production with the additional rear accessible effects loop.

SELLERS DESCRIPTION: As mentioned in original owners description, there is an issue with the burn channel in not sounding as if it is operating at full potential. I have opened up the unit and it appears the unit has an aftermarket clipping diode mod that does not appear in what photos I can procure of unmodded original units. I cannot source a verified schematic either at this time for this unit so the original owner is fine in going forth with the listing in its AS-IS state until this mod can be repaired, improved upon or reversed completely under my possession. The rest of the unit including the Crunch and Clean channel and all parameters and connections work as they should with no problems to note. With all of this noted, this unit will be sold in an AS-IS state due to the condition of the burn channel but will be tested thoroughly by Hijacker Electrical before immediate shipping to insure all other functions work fine as described.

Unit will be packed professionally and accordingly for any instance of worldwide shipping. All valves/tubes will either be bubble packed within the unit itself or removed and numbered and labelled and boxed separate from the unit but consolidated with the whole parcel.
