The Vibrolux Reverb became one of Fender's most popular amp models among players, sporting a great wattage for clean headroom, in a not overly heavy cabinet like its big brother the Twin Reverb. Loud, clean and with just the right bit of natural compression, this amp would serve well in nearly any studio or live setting as a great plug & play amp, or for the right pedal platform.
Cosmetically this amp is in great shape with a well done regrill. Overall it shows only minimal wear in its tolex. The faceplate is in good shape, with some scratches and rust present on some of the screws and chasis straps. The cabinet is currently loaded with original well broken in Fender branded blue label Oxfords dating accurately to the end of '65. The original footswitch is preseent, but has had its switches replaced sometime in the past. The power cord has been upgraded to a modern 3-prong, grounded cord.
Internally this amp has seen some standard service. The filter, cathode bypass, bias, and a few coupling caps have been replaced. The original transformers are all present. The tubeset is a mixture of JJ, Ruby, EHX, and RCA tubes.
