Photos show the use, but it's still working fine.
The Morley Steve Vai Bad Horsie 2 Contour Wah is a signature, full-sized analog wah pedal designed in collaboration with guitar virtuoso Steve Vai. [1, 2, 3]Key Features and Design
- Switchless Operation: It features a spring-loaded treadle. Stepping on the pedal automatically turns the wah on, and stepping off bypasses it. [1, 2]
- Electro-Optical Circuitry: It uses an optical sensor instead of a mechanical potentiometer. This eliminates scratchy noise and wear-and-tear from standard pots. [1, 2]
- Two Modes:
- Bad Horsie Mode: Replicates Steve Vai's preferred default tone and sweep.
- Contour Wah Mode: Activated via a footswitch, it unlocks two additional control knobs—Contour (to alter the frequency/tone) and Level (to control the output volume). [1]
- Clear-Tone Buffer: An integrated premium buffer circuit prevents signal loss and keeps your tone clean in both active and bypass modes. [1, 2]
- Build Quality: Housed in a rugged cold-rolled steel chassis with eye-catching glow-in-the-dark graphics on the treadle and toe-end logo. It runs on a 9V battery or a standard 9V DC adapter. [1, 2]
