The EC-1000 is powered by a pair of EMG humbuckers: a EMG81 in the bridge position and an EMG60 in the neck position. These pickups will deliver up to the minute metal tone. The simplified controls include a master volume for each pickup, and a single master tone control.

The set-in mahogany 24-3/4 -scale neck has been carved into an ultra-fast thin profile and topped with 24 Extra Jumbo frets on a bound ebony fingerboard for extremely fast playability and effortless string-bending. Finally, the blacked-out hardware includes a TonePros locking Tune-o-matic bridge that will stabilize tuning and withstand anything you can dish out.
