This is a 20” Matt Bettis Thin Ride from 2018 weighing 1819g.
I had Tommy’s Drum Shop in Austin install 3 rivets after I bought it, and it sounds amazing. Lots of stick definition with a bit of dragon’s breath.
I’m selling because I’m thinning out my collection; I have a 20” K Constantinople Light Ride that sounds almost identical that I’m more sentimental towards, as it’s the first cymbal I ever purchased, but this cymbal probably has more stick definition than the K Con.
There is a small set of flea bites on the edge at about 1 o’clock from the topside logo (pictured).
If you’re a fan of Matt, you know how great of a cymbalsmith he is, how much care he puts into every piece, and that he doesn’t put up as many cymbals on ebay as he used to (if at all), making his cymbals increasingly rare.
Grab this cymbal and find yourself the owner of one of Matt’s gems!
