I got this a number of years ago as a backup and also to do live recordings and it has never been used at all. I have taken it out of the original box to make sure that everything works and it all checks out fine. These are truly a professional unit with very good mic preamps and I know a few musicians who have used them to make recordings on. These were once popular among reporters and others who were doing mobile field recordings.
