1950's Slingerland Radio King 1950's, 22,13,16 in Blue Glass Sparkle

Gorgeous 1950's Slingerland Radio King Set.

14 x 22, bass, 9 x 13 rack tom, and 16 x 16 floor tom.

No snare.

All original except heads.

The floor tom is shown with different legs. I have the original straight legs. I took them off to record with. The straight legs are original and are included with the set.

The finish on these drums is excellent. There is virtually no fade. They all match and the set was born together.

3-ply mahogany shells with maple glue rings.

Includes the original but well-worn rail consolette. It works and holds the rack tom but the banana part is worn. I used a snare stand for the snare.

Bass drum hoops have the original inlay - minor wear but solid.

There are (and never were) any badges on the two toms. Bass has its original badge.

All the hoops are chrome over brass and are engraved. They are stick saver style hoops. The toms have some small indentations. Chrome is excellent.

The 9x13 tom has a small dent in the finish and shell as shown but does not go through the shell at all.

The bass drum has some ply separation at the seam, internally. A relatively easy repair.

(Note: The original matching snare is now NOT included in the sale. I will offer the snare to the buyer of the 22,13,16 set.)

I prefer local pickup but will ship. These drums are really heavy and will go in four separate boxes.
