For sale is my Maselec MPL-2 Dual Channel Peak & High Frequency Limiter, designed by renowned engineer Leif Mases and manufactured by Prism Sound. The MPL-2 is an extremely high-end analog dynamics processor designed for mastering and other critical audio applications where transparency, precision, and exceptional sound quality are essential. It provides two channels of peak limiting along with independent high-frequency limiting, allowing you to control aggressive peaks and excessive high-frequency energy without unnecessarily changing the character of the source.

The MPL-2 is especially useful on the stereo bus and in mastering, where it can control transients and smooth harsh or overly bright material while maintaining an open, natural sound. Controls are stepped for accurate recall and precise left/right matching, and the unit can be operated in stereo or dual-mono applications. This is a serious piece of professional mastering equipment and has been part of my mastering setup at Anchor Mastering. I’m only selling it as part of some changes I’m making to the studio’s analog equipment lineup.
