This guitar is in excellent condition, very clean. I am a guitar builder and tuned this guitar to play like butter. The nut fret slots were lowered and the action adjusted. One of the frets had popped out slightly and it was pressed back. The frets and fretboard were cleaned. The neck is a good one and allows for super low action up and down the neck. The string height at the last fret is .04" or 1mm. At the 12th fret, it is .02 or .5mm. The guitars play cleanly. The bridge pickup was replaced with a new Seymour Duncan Little 59 humbucker for increase versatility. The saddle screws were replaced with shorter ones so they do not stick out. It is common for the stock screws to stick way out (2mm or more). The new screws allow easier palm muting with out pain or cutting your hand. This model has locking tuners and a contoured neck heel.

I purchased this guitar to check out the stock active preamp. It sounds great and does not add noise in my experience like most do. The first position is very clear and each position add more gain and girth. The last positon makes the 59 bridge pickup sound like a high gain humbucker. The active electronics allow more effective control of gain with the volume knob without losing highs. It also preserves the tone when using mutlple pedals or long cables. The S-1 button on the volume knob bypasses the preamp for the normal passive pickup operation.
