At exactly 7 lbs, with a substantial U-shaped neck, this is an exceptionally attractive example of Fender’s collectible short-scale student-model guitar. The potentiometer codes date to 1973, which is consistent with Fender’s use of earlier-stock components during this period; a comparable 1974 Bronco has also been documented with 1973/1974 CTS pot codes.
