Presonus Quantum 2632 (plus accessories)

I'm selling this computer audio device with a Thunderbolt 2 connection (20 Gbps synchronous).

Undetectable latency (less than 1 ms, up to 16 ms stable buffer size, and around 4 ms in large projects with a 256-sample buffer; I've never had to increase it). It doesn't use the zero-latency monitor trick when recording guitar emulations because it's so fast it's unnecessary; no one has ever made anything like it again, they must know why.

The control panel doesn't use a mixer since that adds extra latency. There's a level meter for the connections, and it communicates instantly with the recording software (used with Studio One and Cubase), making recording a dream of speed and stability (just like USB, ironic mode on, no matter what anyone tells you...).

Firmware updated to the latest version, with drivers released every few months (RME level). It features two XLR-TRS combo line/instrument inputs (switchable) and a microphone input, plus six additional line/mic inputs on the back.

Eight balanced TRS outputs plus two main outputs, two Tos Link ADAT output ports, one SPDIF I/O, Word Clock input and output, and various convenient front panel controls. It also includes remote digital gain control and a real-time analyzer in the control software.

High-quality 118 dB dynamic range converters and dual, independent headphone outputs with more milliwatts than usual—this is no toy. It's suitable for synthesizers (supports volt/octave detection). It has MIDI in and out via standard connectors. It's compatible with Macs until 2024, as far as I understand (I don't use a Mac), and with Windows computers whose motherboard has at least one free PCIe x4 slot and a 5-pin Thunderbolt header (7th, 8th, and 9th generation cores, like the card I'm offering, an Alpine Ridge, or any 10th or 11th generation chipset starting with 4).

IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THUNDERBOLT 4. It can be shipped with a Gigabyte Alpine Ridge Thunderbolt 3 card and an Akitio to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, plus a 2-meter Thunderbolt 2 cable. It has two Thunderbolt 2 ports (it can be daisy-chained with Thunderbolt devices).

That's why I'm selling it; otherwise, no way.

Used in my studio, it hasn't been screwed into the rack; it doesn't even have screw marks, just some light marks from the rack. I will be transferring an unused Studio One license (0 out of 5 activations). The VST software suite (limited versions, I don't think it will be available or if there will be another one) is already uninstalled. In any case, I will be transferring the license for the 2626 model that I purchased and which is unused.
