This is a 2000's Rick Marotta Hipgig Canister Drum Throne. Made to hold all the hardware from the Yamaha Hipgig kit (all the toms and snare are made to nest inside the matching kick drum). This throne is in very good condition, and it is very comfortable! I have been using it as my mixing room chair for a couple of years, but I now prefer to get my money back out of it. There are scuffs on the underside of the base, and one ding on the top inner edge of the shell. Also a couple of minor, dark scuffs inside where a piece of rubber was moved against the shell (see photos). No blemishes to be seen on the lovely finish and hardware. All rubber feet are in great shape. All spring clasps are working like new.
