This Pro Jr III is actually in extremely good shape except for the fact that it is missing the Volume knob, so this is a great opportunity to get one of the best sounding Fender tube amps for a really good price.
The volume control works fine, you just don't have a pointy chicken head knob to show you what your volume is, but I have never found that to be a problem the volume control turns easily with your fingers, and both your ears, and how far you turn it from zero to ten both tell what you volume setting is.
A couple of the reasons I dig these amps so much is that the controls are super simple, which for me makes it really easy to dial in the tone I want. Secondly, at lower volumes it has a rich, beautiful clean, warm tube amp sound, and at higher volumes you get that classic Fender tube breakup. At any level it has that amazing touch sensitivity that only tube amps offer.
Its 15 watts pack more punch than many solid state amps that are rated much higher. And the original 10 inch speaker carries that classic Fender midrange that we are all used to hearing from classic rock and blues recordings
Great amp, I hate to part with it, but I have too many right now.
