Here is a late 1965-Early 1966 Original Fender Princeton Reverb amp. The pictures tell the story, and it is as clean as it looks. Minor scratches on the tolex, and some natural mild patina on the hardware from age. The serial number is AO66XX, consistent with 1965-66. Transformer data: Power P125P1B (606542); Output 125A10B (606539); Reverb 022921 (606419). The original Jensen 10” speaker (reconed) is dated 220602. As shown in the picture, the only visible date stamp on the tube chart is the “O”. This would imply 1965 issue, though as collectors know, in the beginning of 1966, Fender forgot to reset the letter for the year on the date stamp. Consequently many early 1966 Fender amps were stamped OA (implying January 1965), when in reality it was produced in Jan 1966. The date on the original speaker would imply January 1966. The only item I am aware of changed is the capacitor can. Even the power cord is original. There is no footswitch included. You’ll be hard pressed to find as good an example for this price.
