Up for sale is a original 1990 Marshall JCM 900 Model 4101 (100W Hi-Gain Dual Reverb 1x12 combo). First-year production (Serial Y-prefix), meaning it came from the factory with the proper EL34 circuit before Marshall switched over to 5881s in the mid-90s.

If you need pure 90s British crunch, massive headroom, and absolute combat volume to decimate a loud drummer, this is it.

The Details & Upgrades:

• Fresh Eurotubes Service: Fully checked over, serviced, and loaded with a brand-new, perfectly biased set of JJ EL34 power tubes directly by the team at Eurotubes in Milwaukie, OR. Zero tech work needed—just plug and play.
• Speaker Upgrade: Currently fitted with a Celestion Vintage 30 (16 ohm) for tight, punchy lows, rich mids, and no top-end harshness.
• Stock Speaker Included: Comes with the original factory Celestion G12T-75 speaker unmounted, included in the sale if you prefer the stock voicing.
• Cooling Fan Mod: Fitted with a quiet, rear-guard cooling fan running off an on/off toggle switch. Crucial detail: This is 100% non-destructive. It is mounted strictly to the rear metal tube guard with zero holes drilled into the chassis or wood cabinet. Keeps the four EL34s running cool during heavy gigging without introducing any hum to the signal path.

Cosmetics & Functionality: In great shape for a 30+ year-old stage monster. Light tolex wear consistent with age, but no major rips, missing knobs, or structural issues. Pots are noise-free, reverb tank drips properly, and both channels roar.
